i went for the 2nd interview today, hmm, nothing great, i even felt it boring. dunno is it the interviewer problem, or i m not satisfied with the pay they offer...
during the interview, he asked me something not challenging at all, which i oledi answered them on the job application form and during last interview, like:
q: "y do u think we should employ you where there are a lot of candidates available?"
a: as you know, i dun hav any working experience, i cant promise wat i can contribute to ur company, but at least, i m confident i can deal with the job well according to ur description, and i promise i m a good employee.
q: "y do you choose our company?"
a: to be frankly, i m just applying jobs according to the size of the company, i m just applying for listed companies. and i hav done some "homework" on ur company and also your parent company in japan, it owns the largest retail chain stores in japan. ur company is big enough and is listed, tat's y... (basically i dun feel tis is a good answer, but i m just trying to be honest haha...)
i got no idea why they do so, they just give me the feeling that they have no more questions to ask and to be frankly, i hav lost some interest in this company, not as excited as before anymore. does every 2nd interview be conducted like tat? if so, wat's the point? just to let another higher level personnel look at the candidates? and if so, y not they interview the same person together? it will be much much more interesting since there will be more challenging question, rite?
then bout the pay, the highest offer the department head can offer is RM1800, he told me tis is the maximum he can offer, yet it is not final, everything will still need HR department's approval. well, i dont really understand tis, does it mean if HR dept feels i dun deserve tat high, it might be lower than the department head offer? and i dunno whether i get it wrong or my previous interviewer says it wrongly, she told me there will be OT, but i din clarify with her the exact rate after she told me it is not 1.5 times, i just assume it will be higher! but today, the dept head says there will not be OT, it will be replaced by somethg known as "meal allowance" which will oni reach 300 maximum a month if i m working for 12 hours average! oh gosh, it is only 2.1k in total and i need to work for 12 hrs a day, how can it be~~~ i got no comment on the working hrs becoz i will need to work as long as tat, or even longer in big 4 with 2.3k. however, he is kind enuf, he gave me 1 day to think bout it, he will instruct 1 staff to gimmi a call, to c whether i m still interested with the job, if i m, he will pass my file to HR dept to process. actually, does this mean i m employed if i giv them a positive respond tmr?
points i m considering now:
1) the office is near, i just need 15 mins to reach the office w/o jam.
2) 2.1k for 12 hrs VS 2.3k in big 4 for 16 hrs (average working hr a day)
3) this company has lots of promoting opportunities, coz it is expanding and is new, there r fewer "heads" in the hierarchy board compared to comercial bank. probably 1 promotion a year if i m good enough.
4) AEON is already a bank in Japan, and is a potential new bank in malaysia, which means i m in the right field? finance, i wonder...
5) no any other companies contacted me yet! does tis mean i shd take it 1st?
6) i got an option to start work immediately or after cny~ surely i would prefer after cny or i would need to say sry to my frens once again...
7) will i be able to get my ACCA membership with tis job? guideline: 5 yrs in commercial firm, but does tis means any post will do? need further clarification...
8) influence by family : they asked me dun care bout salary, just work, get experience and go bek to help them with their business, possibly after 1 or 2 yrs.
9) how would i manage to save up money with such income? i got instalment and bills to pay, which would eat up half more mayb more of my salary. then i would not be able to fulfill my promise to a fren. hoping for increment and promotion? changes always deviate our plans...
should i take up??? 12 more hrs to the point i need to giv an answer...

hey bro... just tk it as ur first job since u dun hv so many options.. basically,fresh graduate has no many options... just tk it as a chance to gain some experience... i'm sure u will hv more options and better wages once u got more experience...
wait. make sure it's an approved emplyer by ACCA to veify your PER. else you won't be qualify. i think if nothing comes by then just take it first cos they will probably give you 3 months probation before confirming you. during this period you can say bye-bye anytime when you get a better offer.
how to check whether is it an approved employer ler?
haiz, looks like no more hope la... try again later lor. must try hard after cny. mayb result havent release, not considered a graduate yet, tat's y no1 else called me up...
