Election Day 08

8/3/08 - tis is a special day for women, but of course, ntg great for me previously, coz i dun really know wat r they celebrating. but for tis yr, it is the election day as well. for those who dont know, malaysia's election is held every 4-5 years, and tis is the 3rd election i know out of my 22 yr's life. I m 22 rite now, ah, shd be 21 yrs and 4 months old which is more accurate, i m supposed to be qualified for voting this round, but due to my birth date falls on yr end, i cant vote even i had registered. u know la, malaysia, everythg is slow. not to complain much, coz i found tat UK's working speed is not tat fast as well :X and tis is the reason we r able to go for wasa queen cruise trip, we dont need to vote for this round! but not all la, coz some, they can vote but they din do wat a good citizen shd do. it's true, i m refering to those who r elder than me for months, but yet dont feel interested in politics.

ntg special on day time, coz we spent all time sleeping at my place after the tiring yet interesting (although i feel like cheated my casino :P ) trip. but then at nite, during the time period of 9:30 pm- 12 am, when the results r being announced while some are being recalculated due to certain reasons, i discovered some new things. we r playing lamy with 2 sets of cards since we dun hav mahjong and most importantly, we cant go out at nite due to there might be riots around KL tat will endanger our lifes. it was a relaxing moment i will call it, chit chating with true frens, laugh together, play together, don need to think a lot, everythg goes in slow, calm, and peaceful pace. i think this is wat we called the ideal life, the feeling was just so comfortable...

ops, too much descriptions on this, now i shd focus on wat i discovered. for yrs, we dun discuss anythg bout politics, and so i dunno they actually care bout it. wat surprised me a lot is their attitudes, their excitements towards the result. tis is wat i oways heard while i m playing lamy:
1: wa! BN lose the whole Penang edi!
2: oh shit, will BN lose too much? i dun wan to change government!
3: oh yeah, BN lost 10 out of 11 seats to DAP for wilayah...
4: huiyo, PAS won Kedah.
5: wa, BN almost lose Malacca.
6: YAY, Samyvelu lose at last! time for him to get down oso
7: OMG, Pak Lah just win a lil
9: shit, Khairi play cheat issit? lose at 1st but win after recalculate
bla bla bla......

this is quite a new experience for me, coz tis is the 1st time i m passing election day with my frens. somehow, i still feel we r awesome, coz we can pass time doing anythg...
